Tuberose Sensation is a hybrid tuberose that is not yet very common in Romania, which will delight lovers of beautiful perfume plants. More compact and robust than the white of Mexican origin, famous for its strong scent of white flowers, this variety has denser spikes, where a series of simple, star-shaped flowers of a soft lavender pink are clustered, where a magnificent perfume. If its flowering is an olfactory delight, its requirements are simple and clear: it only likes sun, heat and cool soil throughout the vegetative period. Like all tuberoses, it will be grown in pots in most of our regions and brought indoors in winter.
STORAGE AND PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR TUBEROSE BULBS Tuberose bulbs will be kept in a dry place and at a temperature of 10-30 degrees Celsius until spring when the soil temperature will be at a depth of 10cm of 12-14 degrees Celsius. The bulbs will be planted in April, they will be planted at a distance of 20cm between them and a depth of no more than 10cm or at any time of the year if they are planted in pots/planters indoors at the appropriate temperature. Tuberoses really like to "sit with their head in the sun and their feet in the water" That means they will need a place lit by the sun and to be watered almost daily. In the fall, after the flower dries (no later than October), the bulbs will be removed from the ground and the seedlings will be separated, the leaves and roots will be cut, they will dry well in the sun for storage, and we will take it from end. We hope that our advice will be of help to you.
